DAH Solar Module Manufacturing has been Comprehensively Upgraded At the beginning of 2023, DAH Solar completed the module production factory upgrade. As an innovation-driven and technology-leading solar manufacturing company. DAH Solar always focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency and quality control through production technology improvement. Currently, DAH Solar has upgraded its production process by bringing in high tech talents and advanced equipment. DAH Solar optimized serval production processes, like EVA positioning control, welding, automatic inspection, and water cooling. The result of this investment is very surprising. DAH Solar has achieved a new production speed that producing one module only takes 16 seconds instead of 22 seconds! For EVA positioning control, this process is to settle the EVA on the module for bonding the solar cells and the back sheet. This improvement could make sure the overall overage so the EVA sheet won’t shift in the later process. Besides, the welding procedure improvement is very significant. DAH Solar changed the old welding method. Now the welding is through heating the bus bar instead of directly heating the solder strip. For the TOPCon module, the solder strip is even thinner. If directly heating the strip, it has greater odds of causing the solder strip breakage. Heating from the bottom of the bus bar could perfectly solve the problem because the bus bar could balance the heat conduction. Also, the water cooling machine could help the module decrease the temperature after the EVA melting process. As we all know, after the EVA melting procedure, the module could reach to 140℃. Without the cooling system, it needs to take a longer time to reach the next step of operational temperature. Before it gets cool down, lifting the module could deform the glass and the solar cell, in some extreme cases, the glass would even be broken. DAH Solar introduce an advanced cooling system, which will shorten the cooling time and decrease the temperature to 25℃. This will help increase the production efficiency. During this visit, a direct phenomenon could be observed, which is the number of workers has decreased. The production manager Mr. Wang claimed that the DAH Solar module factory has accomplished fully automatic production, which means the production is getting more and more accurate and the requirement of workers are more strict. Mr. Wang said DAH Solar has upgraded all the inspection equipment. In the past, some inspections relied on visual inspection but now it changed to autoscan and the program will automatically check the quality. All in all, DAH Solar upgraded its production line to a more preciously, more efficient, and fully automatic. With those improvements, DAH Solar could achieve an annual module production capacity of 7GW+.
